Thanks for this video. Anyone able to share what would the midi settings be like should I be using a midi router such as an MRCC or Retrokit and not a controller directly into the synth?

the only thing that disappoints me here is that the doomsday clock does not count backward. would love to get my hands on a core... seems like a good addition.

I got the iridium desktop originally to be a modular-like playground, to potentially one day replace my modular. This actually makes me think that’s possible (although it looks like there’s at least some modular in here 😂). At any rate, beautiful work

I just don't understand why hardly anyone uses the possibility to control it with external controllers, I always have 3 pedals and 2 sliders working next to the two PW and MW, so the Blofeld really takes off when playing live! If it's just laziness, it costs at least a few minutes more to program them. The Blofeld has no reset switch, if you operate it with external controllers, you always have reset, if you are driving at the Blofeld, it will be difficult to find the original sound again.

Please tell me, what are the controllers you are using?

Well, as long as you guys are using the money you get by stripping down great products and so increasing your cash target audience and then using it to make more actually interesting and capable products...ok. But I see a dumbing down of everything as more of a problem than a solution. It really looks like that at the moment, we have a seriously oversaturated market that is already bursting at the seams.

This is the exact same promo and sounds from the original dedktop launch. Only the original has more features hands on control whilst also having more midi options and more voices. Might as well get the better original.

This is one of those that I would have in my sitting room, rather than my synth room. It's so lovely visually, and it's easy to play the way you want without messing around.

Too expensive. I can get the entire three Korg wavestate, opsix and modwave and save $1500 AUD on top vs the iridium module. Those three combined are amazing. I can't see 4.5K AUD in this one Waldorf, sorry.

Why so many people are talking about the "same price" for Iridium vs. Iridium core? It´s a difference of at least 500€, is that nothing? Do they all have an oil well in the backyard?

This synth is absolutely incredible. Time to work a bunch of overtime and sacrifice my mental health to feed the GAS. It's a vicious cycle. Awesome job on the sound design and performance.

I was waiting for a great 80's pop / new wave tune to just pop out from this demo. Sounds great!
